Maccabi Ashdod Badminton is the badminton club of the Maccabi Ashdod organization, one of the largest and most veteran badminton clubs in Israel.
The club was established in 1967 and includes a professional league team, amateur groups, and youth and children teams.

Maccabi Ashdod Badminton Club Grows with the City

The Maccabi Ashdod Badminton Club grew out of the local community and has become in recent years one of the leading sports centers in the city.
With hundreds of players and trainees of all ages, the achievements are impressive and reflect quality and professionalism.
The club progresses hand-in-hand with Ashdod's development — and continues to grow a new generation of athletes.

Maccabi Ashdod has won 15 National Championships, making it one of the leading clubs in Israel.

Championship Years:
1977, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2002, 2005.

Honorable Recognition from BWF (Badminton World Federation)
Awarded to Yosef Geva for his contribution to the development of the sport in Israel.

Young players from the club have advanced to senior levels, competing in national and international tournaments.

A professional pathway is led by a team of certified coaches with extensive experience in high-level leagues.

The Badminton Department of Maccabi Ashdod aspires to continue developing as a leading sports and educational center in the city and the southern region,
